TIERRA ROBADA TRIBE

People of the Stolen Land, Socamakintoso'eowek

Foot of our man he humbly bears,

To our ears his creek song bellows,

Shelter us does his lonesome prairie,

to bless us with the yellow bird's song.

Falling Leaf, (or Xwétcalonte'ono), a legendary Tomahawk, the sacred father, and war hero to the Socamakintoso'eowek (Tierra Robada People) in his victory against the oppressive Tongva people, to drive them out of the Tierra Robada territory and establish the Tierra Robada Tribe. He united the meandering desert folk under one banner and had wisely governed the development of his people until his death of natural causes.

Singing Bull (1757 —1820)

Singing Bull, or Wapékémekoto, the first son to the legendary Falling Leaf, inherited the title of Tomahawk after the death of his father. Singing Bull was a pinnacle of trade and diplomacy to the Tierra Robada People, organizing peace and trade deals throughout modern day San Andreas. He was seen as the white dove of all matters diplomacy, and foreign tribe Chiefs throughout modern day San Andreas looked to him for guidance through the beginning of European expansion. He had opened many trade routes throughout the desert, which still lay the foundation of many of the roads today, and had the Tribe flourish economically. He died at the hands of a Portuguese raid.

Yellow Fox (1801 — 1906)

Yellow Fox, or Ctelehuanoteke, the son of the legendary Tomahawk Falling Leaf's second child, assumed the inheritance after a period of tribal uncertainty and chaos. Many neighboring tribes, disliked the idea of the Tierra Robada people's system of blood inheritance as they all prided themselves on the democratic selection of a council. The first Tomahawk to introduce a council of elders. Yellow Fox is remembered for his valiant efforts to hide the Tierra Robada people's from the aggressive expansion of the Europeans, resorting to frequent migration beyond the desert mountains and back. His rule saw the death of many tribesmen to plague during the nomadic phases. He had fended off the raids of Portuguese, English, and Spanish settlers and had valiantly defended the growth of his people. He died of natural causes at a very old age.

Perched Lion (1868 1961)

Perched Lion, or Tikizecmoto, a warmongering Tomahawk conducted numerous raids against the European settlers, who were now officially American. He often ignored the counsel of the elders, and was regarded as a hot-headed, irrational character. His rule saw the interruption of expansion by Americans into the Tierra Robada region, leading attacks on railroad crews and supply wagons to the region. Foreigners to the region were extorted and were robbed, often forced to go back home with empty pockets. Such attacks led to the lengthened development of the Tierra Robada region, with it remaining subpar to this day to the metropolises of Las Venturas, Los Santos and San Fierro. Perched Lion died at a very old age, ten years after his first son was born. It was thought that Perched Lion, in the heat of his warmongering, would forget to raise a successor to the people, and many were concerned with the appointment of the next leader.

Praying Hawk (1951 — Present)

Praying Hawk, or Kautanohakau, or John Coyote as he later adopted, was ten years old when he assumed the blood title of Tomahawk. He was the first to make contact with the European settlers who, at this point, had already grown to encompass almost all of present day San Andreas. He was the first to show his people, in the 70s, the surrounding lands and had introduced his people to the bustling metropolises of Los Santos, Las Venturas and San Fierro. His efforts included the abridging of the American government with the Tierra Robada people, in order to win rights for his tribesmen. He signed treaties with the Americans to protect the sacred land on which the Tierra Robada tribe habitated. He expanded economic developments and infrastructure of the tribe to resemble that of the Americans, and introduced new concepts and ideas to his rapidly adapting tribes members. It was not all that easy, though. Blood, sweat, and tears were shed in order to bring his people to modernization and adapt to the way the world works. Scheming, trickery and intrigue is still employed, even now during his rule. It's his people above all and the world must understand that.

Who Are The Socamakintoso'eowek?

The Tierra Robada People, natives to the region of Tierra Robada, were once a scattered population of lost families, eventually reunited by the legendary Tomahawk Falling Leaf. The people are pure blood native, without a shed of foreign ancestry. They bear thus a rightful claim to their land, the Tierra Robada Reservation, and are a people most notoriously known for doing everything in their might to ensure the success and prolongation of their seemingly indestructible people. Under threat, they are a force to be reckoned with, and under the guidance of Tomahawk Praying Hawk (John Coyote), are a force that will seemingly stop at nothing to get what they need in the blind-spot of the law.

The Tierra Robada People specialize in trade, and the manipulation of trade. They covertly deal in matters involving opiate smuggling and are large influences in the business of gambling. They deal in shady matters involving extortion and, as mentioned, the drug trade. Although they are a friendly people, they are a stubborn, deceitful and arrogant people, which more often than not overshadows their friendliness.

Notes

The Tierra Robada Tribe, or Native American, roleplay is intended to provide the server with roleplay to complement government factions, to add additional roleplay to the State government, to tie in an important demographic of modern day California to the roleplay universe, and to have other roleplayers and factions mingle with them to provide a fresh and unique roleplay experience. There are plans to open casinos and other related business. There are no plans to roleplay outside of what is expected for illegal native americans, such as robbing banks, spray painting, urban crime, et cetera.

This thread is completely OOC. This information cannot be obtained through any means other than through the roleplay universe verbally at this time.

Similar thing existed on NGG for years, it was fun. It's really good thing to RP if idea is active, a lot of players should get involved in this at once and only then it's fun.

Hope I can recreate the same aspect of fun and willing players can dedicate a character!

Unfortunately, though, an admin spoke to me and told me that the Tierra Robada area will be closed off, so until it opens this faction won't be put into play.

Bummer. (for now)

It's fine, don't ruin the idea. Before Tierra Robada is open, I suggest you to RP exactly the same but around San Fierro (Claiming that your original place Tierra Robada was taken away from you and you are trying to get it back) and then you will move "home" to Tierra Robada when it's open.
