It all began a few years ago when Richard "The Mutant" LoFaro moved to San Fierro from New York. LoFaro already knew a couple of local wise guys that used to reside at Juniper, what a nice neighborhood it is. As soon as LoFaro arrived at Fierro, he didn't hesitate to call his old friend named George Nazzaro. Little did LoFaro know that Nazzaro was a big shot in the San Fierro mafia, toppest guy. Richard and George met and exchanged a couple of words, Nazzaro knew that LoFaro was a solid guy and he found him a job opportunity. Nazzaro introduced LoFaro to some well dressed gangster, named Gabriel Biggio, a Captain in the San Fierro Crime Family. Hell of a nice guy Biggio was. He put LoFaro on some guard gig and made him work as a security guard at the Caligula's Casino, ran by Thomas Caruso. Speaking of Caruso, he was Nazzaro's advisor and he used to take care of the legal side of the business. Rumours say that Thomas Caruso had laundered over fifty million dollars from George Nazzaro's illegal activities. As time passed, LoFaro got a grip of what was going on around Biggio and the illegal side of the organisation. Richard got to meet the others - John Sessa, Benjamin Marcetti, Charles Pesaro, Christian Nortelo and many others. LoFaro was a well-oiled money machine in Gabriel Biggio's eyes. Richard was a cold hearted gangster, twenty-four hours seven days a week, three hundred sixty-five days a year. He never hesitated when he had to break into a house or commit an armed robbery, or the worst — to end somebody's life. You may think that Richard was a bad guy, but in the La Cosa Nostra that's how you get to the top. And that's exactly what helped Richard LoFaro to become a Made Man in the San Fierro Crime Family. He was the toppest earner in the organisation and when the books were open he got written into along with a guy named Benjamin Marcetti, a smart guy Marcetti is. Being a Made Man means that you're untouchable and you've proven yourself to the underground world. Everybody wants to be a Made Man but only a few make it. It was all fun, games and parties in the beginning until the organisation was hit by a storm called John Sessa. He turned out to be a federal informant and he snitched on the whole organisation, but unfortunately he couldn't gather enough evidence for the police department and the authorities to start a case on the San Fierro Crime Family. John Sessa is the reason behind the San Fierro Crime Family downfall. After hearing what Sessa did, George Nazzaro flew out San Andreas and moved away to an undisclosed location. Biggio left too. Benjamin Marcetti managed to murder John Sessa before the police snatched him and put him in the ''witness protection program''. The LoFaro crew was part of the now defunct San Fierro Crime Family. The crew is led by Richard LoFaro and operates actively within the outskirts of San Fierro. As of May 29th, Rich LoFaro's crew is considered as an independent criminal organization.

A new era began. The most capable guy took over the organisation, Charles Pesaro. Everything was going just fine all that the members had to do was to stay on the low for a couple of weeks, maybe a month. LoFaro didn't obey Pesaro's orders and went to make money again from burglaries and armed robberies, a real hustler LoFaro is. LoFaro and Benjamin Marcetti were the best earners and Pesaro knew that. Charles Pesaro was going to up them to Captains when things cooled down. Marcetti and LoFaro were meant to be promoted to Captains on the 03rd of June but they got a letter left by Pesaro, saying that he had unexpected personal problems and that he had to leave Fierro to take care of his little daughter. LoFaro and Marcetti decided to take it from there and to keep the legacy going.
