Police Request Aid From The Public To Help Identify Two Outstanding Robbery Suspects

Published 6:12 pm, Monday, February 3rd , 2018

By: Dennis Coleman

Police are seeking information regarding an invasion style armed robbery that occurred yesterday at the quick-stop convenience store on 7th street and MLK Drive. Police are saying that two white males armed with handguns stormed the store and separated the cashier from the back before an alarm can be pressed. Approximately $300 was stolen from the cash register and an undisclosed amount was stolen from a safe located in the back office. Before leaving, the perpetrators took several customers cell phones and wallets, locking everyone in a small back office located at the back of the establisment.

One of the males was identified as: about 6’, having a stocky build, spiky black hair, a tattooed cross on his arm who his partner identified as “Ben” during the robbery; while his partner was described as a slender build and no visible tattoos. Police have noted that this is the third robbery in the past two months at a convenience store around the local area with this type of aggressive entrance and number of perpetrators - although they do not at this time suspect any connection with the other two robberies. The thieves were recorded leaving the scene in a black Ford Fusion in a westbound direction.

One of the customers, who we will refer to as Jeremy, was quoted in the Police Report as having been held at gunpoint for his $30 G-Shock, which his son won out of a claw machine. Police are asking anyone who has potential information about the perpetrators of this crime to call the Crime Stoppers tip line, where you can remain anonymous, and pass information to the police.

Good luck. To overtake other family-type factions, you should put more effort into it.
