Not receiving email on the UCP

Question

Gabriel

As the title says, I am not receiving the activation link via email, therefore i cannot activate the UCP account. On the forums seems to be working, but on ucp it doesn't. What should be the problem? I am using gmail.

Have you checked your spam? That's where it usually goes on Gmail.

I receive my emails in the main box. Anyway, this could take some time, wait a bit more.

I checked spam, and also clicked on resend mail several times. Nothing.

\\ Edit : It worked now, thanks.

Crudge, try checking your spam folder or refresh your inbox a few times.

Sometimes mails take a bit longer to be received.

As far as I'm concerned this is a current known issue, I myself experienced this issue as well even if I used Gmail. This issue has been brought to the top already as I have spoken to one of the staff member about this issue.

Good to hear you solved this problem yourself. I use G-Mail and have never experienced it somehow!

Couldn't you share your solution so other people could also fix it? Thank you!

PaC.

I had this problem on multiple websites. The reason being was that I have used @googlemail.com instead of @gmail.com. For some reason, the default email structure for gmail is @gmail.com. When using @googlemail.com, it takes a little longer for the data to be sent to your email.
