Position Information The Mapping Team is a group of volunteer community members who play a role in creating the in-game environment of Bay Area Roleplay. As part of their role, they uphold their creativity in an effort to make the server itself much more appealing from an in-character, and out of character perspective. Responsibilities Handling Suggestions - Mappers are responsible for forwarding suggestions to the team in the designated Creativity forums. From here, they are able to discuss what additions ought to be made, changes, and so-forth. Development Support - Mappers will be assisting the development team in creating maps for the server. These may include interiors, stuff for events, and faction-related mapping. Requirements You must be familiar or knowledgeable with our community structure and its entities. You must be familiar or knowledgeable with Map Construction, or other mapping program(s). You must be able to work well in a stressful environment while remaining calm. You must be able to commit yourself to any assignments and dedicate yourself to the community. You must be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the English language unless working with a Translator. You must be able to maintain a good reputation in the community.
You must have been a community member for at least 30* days. You must not have received any severe punishment on any platform within the past 30 days. Your Discord account must be verified on the Discord server.

Stage 1: Application The applicant fills out the application form, which can be found below. The application form must be complete with the exception of additional information. Proofreading is encouraged. Refer to the Application Rules and Tips below for a complete set of rules regarding the application process.
Application forms are to be sent to the Head of Mapping (@Halycen) The thread title is your forum name.
Stage 2: Deliberation Your application form will be moved to the private application discussions board, where members of the Mapping Team will go over the application, ensuring all criteria is met.
Once applications are decided, the Head of Mapping can proceed to your induction.
Stage 3: Induction All accepted applicants will be inducted into the Mapping Team. Your forum groups will be set, and you'll be able to see the Creativity board. Application Rules and Tips The application form must be complete with the exception of additional information. Any missing field will result in an automatic denial, so ensure that you do not rush your application. Proofreading is encouraged. Your application form must be written by yourself, and yourself only. You are not allowed to receive assistance from any third party, unless utilizing a translator. Such offense will result in an automatic denial and possibly punished from any or all platforms, depending on the circumstance. Refrain from pestering any member of the administration team, especially the Head of Mappers, to check your application. Applications will be reviewed when everything is ready.
While there is no word limit on any of the sections, you have more chances of being potentially selected if you put a lot of effort into your application. You have more chances of being selected if you are actively contributing to the community. (Forum and Discord). The Head of Mappers reserves the right to deny any applicant for any reason they see fit.

I also agree that I will be entering in a non-disclosure agreement, and conform to all policies in said agreement. I waive my participation in the community if I am found liable for any severe activities, including the non-authorized dissemination of confidential information.
I certify that the Head of Mapping and/or Management Team reserves the right to amend this declaration without further notice, and I automatically agree to any changes made in this declaration without contest.
